Touch Space is an immersive music installation in a 72 hours party as part of Buttons, one of Berlin’s most known party lines in About Blank nightclub.
The piece was created for the opening event of the Garden in May 2018 and was played on seven Dynamic Speakers ©. Five speakers were playing independent individual tracks, creating a continually moving sound landscape in the crowd. Along the music, two speakers were playing a sensual ASMR piece that could only be heard by one listener at a time when placing the Dynamic Speaker © close to his or her ear. This evoked a private situation for each listener within the intimate environment the Dynamic Speakers © created for the public.
Touch Space was created jointly in collaboration with Trumpet Player Matthew Conley, DJ James Passfield, and ASMR artist Annie Gå.
